Name Mistake on OPT card

I have received my OPT EAD CARD on 01/17/2015 and found that my half name is printed twice. I have applied for my OPT on 11/10/2014 ,I have receive my receipt with name error. On 12/10/2014 I have launched a request to correct my name. on 12/14/2014 I have received a letter having my correct name on mailing address. Now when I received my card there is another mistake. My OPT start date is 26 jan 2015.
1.can u pls tell me how many days it will it take to get my new OPT card.
2.If the replacement process takes more time will uscis change my start date?
3.Can I apply for SSN with my current opt card. Because I am having all the other supporting documents like Passport, U.S driving license, visa, I 20

I am little bit tensed.

Please help me ..............

You should speak with your DSO who most likely faced the same situation before. You will need to return the card to USCIS with the appropriate letter explaining that there is an error that is caused by USCIS. You will be able to continue working while you are waiting for the card. It can take anywhere from a few weeks to 3 months for the new card to arrive. You can try to apply for the SSN (take all your documents including the letter from the USCIS regarding the error).
