Hello everyone,
I graduated in dec 2014. I applied for my opt In November. USCIS received my case on November 12th and i got my receipt number. The thing is my check of 380$ for opt fee has not been claimed by the uscis yet. My start date is on jan 18th. Also my sevis is expiring on jan31st Q1)will this affect my OPT processing?. I called the uscis customer service, they asked me to call back on the 75th day..which is jan 26th . Generally they claim the check once they start processing so does it mean that they dint start my application processing yet? Its already been 65days since they received my application .Q 2)Also when will my start date be? If i receive my EAD after my start date which is jan 18th, when will my opt start from? the day i get my EAD or the start date which i set?
