Employer name in I-20?

Hi,

I recently joined company X in OPT. But they E-verified me with the parent company. However, they would file my H1B with company X. So, I am confused what employer name should I have in my I-20?

Who is your employer, or the person who is paying you your salary and directs you in what to do? That is your actual employer.
Are you on STEM OPT or regular OPT? On STEM OPT, you must be working for the E-Verified company and be getting paid by them to maintain status. Working for the subsidiary company could be considered a violation of the STEM OPT. If it is regular OPT, then it’s okay.

uscis does not who is parent and who is child the company which has e verified try to make that company on i-20 to be safe side

Who ever running u r payroll should be on u r sevis records ..
For stem ext which ever company u will be working after stem ext started should a everified company ..
