Query on uscis e-verified employers

I have a query on how to know which employer is e-verified or not. As per my observation I got to know the following link to check whether the companies are e-verified or not -> http://www.uscis.gov/e-verify/about-...rs-search-tool

I've an employer who is not showing up in the uscis e-verified list of employers. But when I he has e-verified employee number.

Does e-verified employee number is good enough to join the consultancy firm even though it is not showing up in the uscis e-verified list of employers on uscis site and will it be safe to join?

or Let me know the best approach on how to join the consultancy keeping what all the constraints in it.

Please advise.
