Hi,

I am Nalin and I finished my masters in Computer Science from East Stroudsburg University this May. I got my OPT in June but in mid september I got a call from my College in mid september saying that I did not meet the requirement for the program so I have to come back to school for 1 more course due o which I had to give up my OPT because I changed my my majors for 1 course from Computer science to general science keeping in mind that I fall in STEM program. Now Since I got m OPT from Computer science so this OPT is not valid and I cannot re issue a new OPT for General Science. An International Officer of my school emailed me today saying that I have 60 days grace period to leave the country.
My question is what should I do. Can i Apply to different school and get CPT from day 1 so that I can maintain working simultaneously.

Please help me.
