Firstly I would like to appreciate how desi-opt has been helping students to get
access to the right kind of information.
My question is
I started my opt in june 23.I was on bench till sept 15 ,just in time before the 90 day period.
then i worked for a client where the proj ran into issues and it was discontinued and
I came back on bench by oct 1st week.So I have payrolls for the two weeks when i worked.
then i shifted to a new employer in dec.He is going to run a payroll for nov and for the coming months.
so I dont have payroll for two weeks in oct 15 to oct 31.Will that be counted as unemployed.
1.Will there be any problems.?
2.Also I'm supposed to report my employer change to my school?
Any suggestions appreciated.
