Currently my GPA is 3.05 and I have one more semester yet to graduate. During my last semester, I will be applying for OPT. If unfortunately I couldn't graduate I will be taking up a summer course, then What can I do with my OPT? Can I change or extend the opt start date? I am confused about this as I am not aware of how this process work?

As I told, my friend was in same situation, so he waited until he graduated then he applied for OPT the next day of graduation. You will have 60 days grace after your graduation to apply for OPT. So if you are not sure WAIT or in the worst case if you sure that you will graduated with expected GPA then apply two months before graduation.
