What if OPT Stem Extension Denied

I Applied 10 days before my Post Completion OPT(12 month) ended and its been about 60 plus days and still no update on USCIS website.

Suppose the OPT extension eventually gets denied so will I have the opportunity of using STEM Extension in the future for Masters or Phd. (I finished my Bachelors here) considering I have been working even after my OPT expired and while the OPT extension application is in process (can work upto 180 days rule.)?

It takes around 90 days. You can work upto 180 days or until the decision whichever is earlier.

You can't work 180 days if your Stem opt denied before that !!

I think the question is if the STEM eventually gets denied and the person has technically worked even after OPT expires, so in future will the person be eligible for a STEM extension for a future degree (master's or PhD)

If ur stem is denied before completion of 180 days, u need to stop working immediately. Else u r good till 180 days. U will be eligible for fresh opt and stem opt if u go for higher academic education. In ur case it will be masters degree.
