Planning to leave X and join Y soon- effect on H-1B

Problem -1
I have a question here. I am working for X consultancy and I have a very good offer from Y consultancy. I am planning to leave X and join Y soon.

My question is 1) Will this impact my H1 application?
2) How do I get W2 forms from X consultancy where I worked for 4 months?

Problem.-2

My consultancy X gave me a offer letter with my joining date as August 4th which is the start date of my OPT. But I started working for Client from August 27th. Here My billing starts from August 27th. There is almost one month gap.

1) Will this effect my H1 application?

Can someone please help me on this.

1. Shouldn't be a problem. However it depends on the dates you reported to university.
