I filed my OPT application and I got the NOA from USCIS. My name has been misspelled in the NOA. My name is quite long and it runs upto 40 characters including the first and last name. My first name has two parts with a space in-between. In the NOA, they have mentioned the second part of my first name as "G.". When I consulted my university people, they told me that its because the OPT card cannot have that many characters and so they have truncated the name. But, I am worried that they might have considered the second part of my first name as my middle name.
Is there a way to verify if they have added a middle name or have they just truncated my name? Or, if I leave it as it is, will I be facing issues in the future?
