Thank you very much for all the efforts you are putting to help us. I have a question regarding my OPT.
I have applied for OPT on Aug1 and they have received my documents by Aug7. Its in process since Aug12. Online its still in initial review. My OPT was starting from Sep11. I am about to get a job offer, but very confused what to say to my employer. Could anyone guide me what should I do if I got a job-offer ? Can I expedite it ? They said it takes 90 days, so will there is any way, if I can get it till Nov 12 (that time, my 90 days period will be over). Any help will be highly appreciated.

Your unemployment clock does not start running until you actually get the OPT card, regardless of the requested start date. It is unlikely your application can be expedited unless you can show severe financial hardship or something like that. If you get a job offer, you will need to explain that you are waiting for the EAD to come and you hope it will come soon. All you can do is hope they will wait for you.
