MS in Civil Engg, Software job problems?

Hi
I am done my under graduation in civil engineering. so after i came to usa, i thought of changing my major to computer science but as i got to know that there will be many prerequisites. I continued with ms in civil engineering. As the scope of getting job in civil engg is almost impossible, i am planning to get a software job. will it be any problem for OPT or during H1 if i am doing a software job?

i have the same issue, i completed my masters degree in civil engineering, but all the offers that i have are in IT. so i think i will take a training course in business analyst

If your job is entirely different stream of your studies ,the chances to get RFE are high!!

Try to move Texas or Florida, there are many Civil Engineering jobs out there. I wonder why you guys are having trouble getting a job.

Not a problem but in your curriculum if you have any computer science electives you can defend your self what is mean is Doing any course related to CS can help you .
