Payroll Issue

I got my OPT in the mid week of Feb 2013, but my start date was Jan 20 2013. I got a Job in the mid week o May. My employer haven't run payroll till June. I'm little worried about this issue.Will there be any affect on my OPT extension or H1b?

Under OPT rules, you’re not supposed to have more than 90 days of unemployment. While time employed also counts time that you aren’t paid or on payroll (as long as you’re working 20+ hrs/week), you have already exceed the maximum allowable time and may have an affect on your immigration status (see: https://www.ice.gov/doclib/sevis/pdf...nce_042010.pdf). You should speak with an attorney.
