Unemployment days and STEM extension while changing employer

Hi,
I am currently on OPT. My last day with employer A is Friday and first day with employer B is Monday.
a. Will Saturday and Sunday be counted as unemployment days?
b. My OPT is ending in the first week of Feb and I need to apply for STEM extension. When is the last date I can apply for it?
c. I am planning to apply towards the end of November, will that be too late? The reason I am waiting so long is because I will be changing employer around Nov 17th.

Please let me know.

a. Technically, yes.
b. You must file before your current OPT expires. USCIS generally recommends filing the extension 90 days before the current OPT expires.
c. You are cutting it close by filing it later. Why can’t you file 90 days before (in beginning of November) but with information about the new employer?

Yes .. It is diff between old job end date and new job start date .. My advise is Apply stem ext as soon as possible .. By law u can change employers ..

10 days between change of jobs do not count towards unemployment..
