Wheather to Include or exclude the previous company details while applying for jobs

Hey, I have a huge problem with me right now. I was hired by a industrial engineering consultant company and I was working on a project for like three weeks in a different country before that company put the project on hold due to some financial considerations. So after a couple of days at the office, my company just terminated me for no reason. So It is just a bad day dream in my carrier.
And my question is, I am applying for other jobs from tomorrow and I would have had two pay stubs by the end of this week. So will the company I would apply for know about this employment when they access my SSN details?or Can I just leave this company aside and not include it in my carrier? Please help me out. Also is there anything I should know about this procedure before I start speaking with other companies?

1.SSN query will not show up your termination, if you have not involved in crime..
2.Yes, you can exclude that company.. But you should have some story to tell for that two months..if new employer asks..
