I came into the US as an international student on the F-1 visa and was admitted under Duration of Stay. After I graduated in May 2013, I applied for an OPT which allowed me authorisation to work from 08/14/13 to 07/11/14. I couldn't find a job until near the end of my 90 day unemployment span when I convinced an Alumni to hire me as an unpaid intern at a consulting firm. I updated my OPT saying that the start date of my job was on 11/11/13, one day before my 90 day unemployment span ran out. Since then i've been working there until my OPT ended of 07/11/14. I met with a lawyer that assured me I have a 60 day grace period to leave the country, which means I have to leave by 09/09/14. I have a flight booked on 08/08/14 to leave, but I may have a final round interview at a firm that wants me to come back and meet the MD Mid September. I am planning on leaving to Canada and coming back as a tourist on the day of the interview, just to interview. Will I be able to come back into the US on a tourist visa and be admitted into the country for a couple days to interview for the position before leaving again? I heard that if I do get denied entry by the CPB, I could have an even bigger problem at hand.

How long do I have to stay out of the US, after my OPT ends, before I can come back?
