OPT extension employment details to the school

I worked for the first 18 months on OPT as an independent contractor, later i started looking for jobs but no luck. Since i had to submit my employer details to the school every 6 months on OPT extension and i couldn't find any employment in the next 6 months so i had to submit my previous employment details. Previously i worked as an independent contractor on 1099 so i gave that details to the school. Now my H1B is approved and have to go for stamping. I have no idea what to say if they ask me where i worked during that 6 months period as i do not have any payroll or any experience letter to show. Can anyone please suggest me any idea.

Mostly they will not as they are concerned by you H1 and you employer and all the stuff just in case take all docs with and in the interview tell only what they ask.... Good Luck
