Hi All, I have applied for OPT extension a month before my OPT Expiration(June 25th) but my OPT extension got rejected because I have missed a signature on I-765 form. So I got my OPT extension document on July 18th with a green form on it to reapply and my ISSO generated a new i-20 so that I can reapply for OPT extension again.
I also applied for H1 this year which got picked and got rejected but my employer is appealing since the reason was silly and doesn't make any sense.
So kindly let me know what are my options are.
1) Is my OPT Extension valid since I reapplied after my 12-month OPT got expired.
2) I got a status update on my OPT Extension case "On August 11, 2014, your address was changed relating to the I-765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION that you filed. Please check our website at". Does this means that they are processing my application and will not reject it.
3) I am in Middle of transferring my SEVIS to a different university to pursue MBA so that I can be in status. Should I make that SEVIS transfer.
