Hello Guys,
I was graduated on May 14th 2014. And I applied for OPT with start date on July 12th (Just 2 days before grace period). To get my OPT faster, I made expedite request for OPT and submitted an offer letter to my university that I had job offer letter from July 17th. So , they generated a new I-20 on which it states that my employment with employer starts on July 17th. And finally my OPT approved and actual start date is on August 9th 2014. So, I cannot work before the start date on EAD card and my employer gave me a new offer letter with starting date from August 18th.
And again I updated my employment dates to my DSO starting as August 18th. So, my question is that
1) Is it fine to update dates ?
2) As per 90 days of unemployment when should I get my pay roll , July 12th (as per I-20) or Aug 9th (as per EAD Card) ?
3) And when will DSO updates our employment information to USCIS ?
