Passport expiring- Should I apply for OPT?


Hello! My current passport will expire in 7 months. Should I first get a new passport and then apply for OPT or would it be fine if I mail my documents right away? Thank you.

I dont think there is any relation between OPT and passport renewal. Apply for a new passport and keep old copies just in case if you would need them and passport office will keep your passport for few days as they sent out the enquiry in India.... Good Luck..
