Passport name change on OPT...

Hi All,
I have the "no surname issue" in my passport and because of that I am having a lot of delays in everything due to name mismatch. I am on OPT right now and my OPT renewal will be in feb 2015.
I am planning to get my name corrected in passport, i20, i 94, ss card by the end of december 2014 and then apply for opt renewal in Jan 2015 with new documents (passport, I20, I94). Will that be fine or do I have to apply for correction of name on OPT card too and then apply for renewal??
My company will be filing for H1 in apr 2015 and I do not want to take any chance of starting name correction process after opt renewal.

That is fine just apply with u r name change certificate or correction proof ..
