My opt application was received on May 22 and I received the received the receipt on May 27 from Nebraska Service Center. It's been more than one month but I still can't check the status online.
I get the following error message-
Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283.
I tried calling the USCIS help line but they have asked me to wait for 45 days before they can do anything about it. Is it usual for taking this long for online status to update. I have a job offer from August 18 and I am bit worried that processing may take longer. Can someone please advise what should I do.
