OPT STEM -Is there a timeline to apply?

I have some questions about 17 month Extension opt. My original Opt expires on Feb 28 OPT. Which is the earliest date I have to apply for 17 months extension?

You need to apply 90 days before the expiration of the first opt

Its always advised tk apply 3 months before the exp date. But u hv an option to apply even 1 week before. But to be on safe side ppl apply 2-3 months before. I applied 1 month ago and got in 20 days. But thats very rare.

it has to be before your OPT expiration .. technically you can do it after first date of your Post completion OPT if your DSO gives you I0
