OPT Extention a problem without payroll?

Hello first of all thanks to desiopt and to all the people helping with valuable suggestions.
I have a small query and not sure if its worth worrying for. I graduated in dec 2013 and was looking for full time positions since then. My opt started on feb 13th and to maintain status I joined a consulting firm and updated the details of company in university. Unfortunately, they said they cannot run payroll for this month as they are already done with the process for this month and said they can do it for next month. Will it be a problem if payroll is not generated on my name?
Should I immediately any other firm to run payroll for this month? I am afraid if my issue results in RFE?
Please give me suggestions quick so that i can search another employer who can run payroll immediately.
