OPT documents: cancelled cheque and payment of USCIS fee

Hello,

Can we submit the OPT filing fee of $380 through money order or it has to be a DD?

Also i heard somewhere that we need to submit a cancelled cheque along with the OPT application. Is it true? I don't have a cheque book. If it is true, what do i do?

Money order will do.... You don't have to send a cheque

You can donut through money order better I suggest you to take it from USPS ( this is my personal suggestion not necessary ) no you no need to send your cancelled check take it easy .

You can only send the check worth of $380 but you shouldn't send any cancelled check if you do so your opt extension will be denied and you should have to send it again for approval .

You can fill out the paper work on line and pay with a credit/ debit card or with your bank account. It's the easiest way good luck
