  • OPT extension, Employer not E verified

Hi, I am on initial 12 months OPT which is expiring next month. Also, my employer applied for H1B which didn't get selected in the lottery.
Now i want to apply for 17 month OPT extension and the problem is my employer is not e verified. Since my company is fairly small and my employer is willing to e verify the company,
    1) how long does it takes for a company to get e verified.
    2) My OPT is expiring next month, is it fine if i apply for OPT extension with my newly e verified company(Since the company never had e verification system before).

    Thanks in advance
