Does "F" Grade in Masters will efftects to OPT and 17-month STEM EXTENSION ?

Hi all,

I have a question, I got "F" grade in one of my course in Spring 2014. I heard that if i retake the course again in summer and my previous Grade "F" and the new Grade both will come on my Final Transcript. Since i got "F" grade, Does it effects to my OPT and 17-month Stem Extension ? Can anybody help me on this, I am really worrying about My "F" Grade.

Ask you international advisor as different schools will have different rules.... It will not impact you OPT at all... Please talk to your professor if can remove you F grade (Generally they do) if he dose not then ask him/ her if you can take a retest.... Good Luck buddy...

No, it won't affect your OPT.

As long as you pass out with with more than 3.0 GPA it won't affect your OPT or any other privileges which International student is having.
