  • Internship Offer Legal ?

    Hello all,

I have come to US on F1 visa status to College A in fall, done 3 courses and then transferred to college B. My credits are not transferred so I had to join as a new student for spring in college B. Now I have completed 9 credits and it has been 9 months I came to US.
My doubt is I have an intern offer in this summer for 3 months. Can I work as an intern for 40hrs during summer. I also have SSN.

    Awaiting your quickest reply.
    Regards and Thanks.

You should be able to. I think the rule says you need to be full time student (9 credits) in the US

Check with DSO, most colleges require 18 credits to be eligible for CPT
