  • OPT (2 Job Offers) (QA Analyst and Software Developer) (URGENT!)

I just graduated and am on OPT. My degree was in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, but I have taken few programming classes during school. I have 2 job offers from direct clients (No consultancy involvement). Job Offers: One as a QA ANALYST and other as a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER. I have two questions:

    1. Will I be approved for OPT EXTENSION in future if I go with the job as QA ANALYST?
    2. Will I be approved for OPT EXTENSION in future if I go with the job as SOFTWARE DEVELOPER?

I am getting more salary for QA than SD.
    Please help me decide. Thanks!

In any of the options listed above, you can get your OPT extension approved condition that you are with a job and have a offer letter to file for extension. My preference would be to go ahead with software development, rest is your choice.

        All the Best !
