Hi,
I had an employer since a month and he did not file my I-9 or W-4 forms but gave me an offer letter. He recently asked me to fill those forms, when I asked him to run payroll for last month. But now I got a permanent job and switching this employer. Now, the new employer also wants me to fill the I-9 and W-4 forms for the job which I am going to begin in few days. Now, its like both the employers will receive these forms at same time.
1) If they submit my forms to USCIS at the same time, would it be a problem for me in the future?
2) If that's a problem, should I quit to submit the forms to 1st employer, as I am just running them to cover my gap period?
Please say the best solution for me.
Thanks
