Travel while OPT is pending

Hello all,

I'm graduating this May and plan to go back to my home country for a short visit for about one month. My OPT application was received by USCIS Texas center on March 24. In other words, currently my OPT is pending. My question is if by the time I re-enter the US in June,

1. my OPT has been approved but the EAD card is yet to come.
2. my Opt is still pending.

Can I travel in either case? Can I re-enter with all the required documents plus offer letter but without the EAD card at hand? Can I use the OPT receipt notice instead?

yes you can travel .. take necessary precautions ..

No... You should not travel...if u r planning to travel to India then ask one of ur frd to courier ur OPT card to you..
You have to have OPT card in order to enter US after graduation

You should have the following documents to make sure that you re-enter without any issues. Passport, valid visa, EAD card and Job offer letter. Missing one of these documents would not guarantee you entry into US.
