How are the OPT processing times looking this year?

Hi,

I was just wondering if OPT processing times have gotten fast this year or they stayed about the same compared to last year? I just applied for my OPT. I just wanted to get an estimate on how long it would take for me to get my OPT approved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

mostly with in 70 days .. but USCIS can take up 90 days allowed by law ..

Depends on Service center. As mostly in 70 days. Dallas is usually faster than Arizona

My friend has recieved it within 30days.. applied it in 2nd week of Feb, University of North Texas

It would depend on the service center... As mentioned by others Texas is pretty quick provided all the documents are in order. Per USCIS it is 90 days processing time.

when u have applied? I have applied in Feb 14th but status shows initial review..
