  • Tax season! What software do I use?

I have been working on OPT since January 2013 and recently got STEM extension approved. As this is tax season, I am looking to file my taxes for 2013. As full time enrolled students, we were using the Glacier tax prep software to file file the 1040NE-EZ and 8843 forms , with assistance from my school. But this year they said they couldn't help me since I wasn't enrolled in last year. I tried using turbo tax to file my returns this year, but realised that it doesn't support 1040NR-EZ type forms nor 8843s. Just wanted some help regarding what software to use. I know that I should be filing for 1040NR EZ, since I am technically still on F1 visa, even though I am working on OPT.

    Thanks guys!

Its not a big deal to fill it on your own.

Go to H&R Block. I have been getting my taxes done with them for some time now. This year they charged me 50 bucks to file both federal and state tax. Be warned if you do an online e-file you still have to post your documents to the address mentioned.

Glacier Tax Prep. I did using this from past three years for 1040NR-EZ its very easy and only $34...
You have to get a code and then do the filing and mail to Federal and state offices.

OR if you are confident you can fill all the details, you can collect the tax document from POST OFFICE (USPS),
