  • How to Freeze OPT?

    Hi , I graduated from university of Texas at Arlington in December 2013 , I'm currently on my OPT now , I'm planning to enroll myself at UCLA in the next quarter . I would like to know if there is any way I can freeze my OPT now and use it after I graduate from UCLA, please let me know if this is possible, thanks for the help

      not pretty sure about this but if u r starting a new degree program in UCLA then u will have a different opt for it

        No you cannot. If you are doing second similar degree ( masters)you will not be eligible for OPT. If you are opting for a higher degree say PhD then you will be eligible for the OPT.

          Withdraw OPT: If Student EAD Withdrawal Requests is received prior to approval
          -Scan the letter signed by the student and attach to the e-mail message
