i have a question, i hope you can answer that. After completing MS we have three chances to apply for H1-B. if it is applied consecutively without any gap each year .. what are the chances that you get selected for H1-B. i mean to say if someone try three times and he would get rejected all the time.. is it luck that matters ? Have you ever heard any case like that a person applied each year consecutively for three years and his or her application is not picked.

basic probability .if you are very bad luck person then it may not picked in lottery generally it will picked up any of the individual yr ..
. but lottery only happened in 2007 & 2013 for masters quota so there is no real data .

so it would be suggested that apply H1-B every year till you get selected.. rite dont take risk by skipping years or dont believe in misapprehension that take full advantage of OPT and apply it when your OPT ends

yes .. you only save max of 7.5 k per yr ( if y r pay is higher than 100k)
or 7.5% u r salary .. where as value of ' risk of not getting selected' is to high .. we dont know what happens in future (+ve or -ve ) ..
