USCIS Response Time

Hello everyone,

I got my OPT approval notice I 797 about 15 days ago and it was stated in the notice that my EAD was sent separately. I accepted a job offer expecting the card coming soon. Unfortunately, now i received a notice from USCIS saying that my card was not produced as my photos were not to the standard and have to resend them. My job's start date is about 1 week from now. How many days will USCIS take to send me the card? What options do i have now? My employer doesn't know about this yet. Please help me.

2.If you have that, you can use that to show to your employer. But you are already approved to work.

Can I start my OPT from first week of June even though I send all my documents to apply OPT this week I heard you can select date when u want to start your OPT , and my opt days will start from tht date I chose to start is it true ?
