  • Applied for STEM Extension, but travel before knowing if it's approved

My initial OPT is valid till June 1st week and have applied for STEM extension on 03/10/14. But I need to travel to India next week and will be back in april. As my I94 will change, will that affect my STEM application process? What needs to be done in that case?

When coming back to US in april, my I94 will change. But now I have applied for STEM with my current I94. By the time USCIS is processing my application, if my I94 is changed, there will be a mismatch between what I have submitted and what I will be having by that time. Won't that be a problem?

Do you have a valid visa?

I believe the I-94 number remains the same.
