USCIS Number mis-match on 17-Month STEM Extension EAD Card
Friends,
This is a different situation of mine as i hope.I received my 17 month OPT STEM Extension EAD card with USCIS number not matching the previous 12-month extension.I have called the support center for USCIS and the reply was that i would be receiving a mail from USCIS(not sure what it is).
I have everything planned to travel to India in April second week which is deemed important.
Below are the question on my mind regarding the situation i am in.
1)How long does the process take(on assumption) to have my new card in hand.
2)What are the documents required that i need to submit back to USCIS again.
3)Can i submit the documents before i receive a mail from USCIS or should wait for the mail and then send the required documents.
3)What are the chances of travel to home country.
Please do leave your valuable suggestions and experiences.
