lost passport before graduating

Hello all,

I lost my passport recently, I am about to graduate in 3 months. I will be applying new passport very soon. My questions are

1) After getting my passport what happens to my f1 status?

2) Do I need to go back to India and get visa stamping before graduating or Can I stay here in USA without getting f1 stamp again and apply for OPT?

3) If I go to India before graduation, what are the chances of rejecting visa?

4)If I go to India after graduation, what are the chances of rejecting visa?

5) If I have been to India for stamping, Do I need to carry all the documents that I carried for my first visa interview?

6) Is visa stamping mandatory to apply OPT?

7) If I can and so stayed back in USA without any visa stamping, Will that cause any problem while applying H1B?

8) Is visa stamping required to apply H1B?

1 yes u an stay with out any problem ..
2 if u need to travel u need to go for stamping
3 mostly yes ..

1) you need copies of passport to apply for h1b and opt. 2)you do need to get it stamped from india but you can apply here and BLS will process ur new passport within 10 weeks i guess. You can stay here without the stamp but you won't be able to travel then.3)yes.
