OPT Card Stuck due to background checking - Please help!

Applied For OPT in Aug !!! Still in initial review...????
Called them and i got a letter saying that background check is pending wait for 180 days...
Need Suggestion what to do?? Is there any way we can approach them...
Please help me out...!!!!

Hi.....
Here is the way....
Go to the URL:www.uscis.gov
On the left hand side you see a label named make a safepass appointment. Click on that label and enter your zip code when it displays it & schedule an appointment with nearest uscis office... so tht they can provide more info regarding your case status.....
