Problem faced during green card time

Hello All

I am currently on my OPT 17 month stem-ext.But currently i am not working.And I am married.My husband's GREEN CARD priority date is 07-MAY-2010.What kind of issues will be faced during GREEN CARD process.IF i change my visa status as H4 will the problem be solved?OR still will i have issues after changing the status to H4.
