On OPT Project ended...near to opt extension !! help!!

Hi ...
Sorry to post my question here.... I Need your suggestion ...
I am on OPT period ,...my opt start date was july 8 2013 and I got job on aug 13 2013 ...but last weekend my project ended .... I have to apply for opt extension in April 2nd week ...Please suggest the problems i would face and what need to be done. I believe untill i get other job their will be no pay roll run and can there be break ...Do I need to submit pay stubs when applying for opt extension .....
.....what are the negative and positive things. please suggest....
