OPT Not received after 90 days
Hi All,
I applied my OPT application on Nov 20,2013 with offer letter. on Jan 26,2012. i sent the request to expedite the process as my joining date was coming close and also attached the offer letter with it.
on Feb 20, 2014 completed the 90 day mark of processing time but still my application is in initial review. on 91st date i called the Nebraska service center and they said u can fill in service request as it is outside of our normal processing time.
Today i got the email from USCIS regarding my service request saying
" [B]The status of this service request is:
Recently you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I765 to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.
Our records show that that this case is currently being reviewed by an officer. However, additional review is being performed on this case and that has caused a longer processing time. We regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date at this time. We apologize for the delay.
We hope this information is helpful to you and appreciate your continued patience. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact customer service at the number provided below, or you can go to our website www.uscis.gov for information there[/B]"
I need your suggestions on this.What does this means and has anyone faced or got the same reply as this ?
