OPT extension denied in error by USCIS

Hi,

My OPT extension was denied in error by NSC. USCIS made announcement that those denied on basis of unpaid internship was in error. They have asked for our name and Receipt number. But I returned to my home country because my denial notice came on last day of my grace period and I had no option to change into another status. So with my DSO's suggestion I got back abiding the laws of US government. I have sent my name and receipt number to Nebraska Service Center but have not heard from them yet. I don't know how they would take my situation. Please let me know if anyone have any updates on this matter. I would really appreciate. Thanks!

Well MTRs if filed then would also have been denied. Also i dint hear from USCIS either after my mail.
