OPT under review, Travel to India, Alien Registration number Changed.

Hi,

My OPT is under process(Initial Review), and due to an emergency I had to travel to India.
The day I traveled, my case status updated to "Your Alien Registration Number Changed...".

1) I am worried if this would effect the processing of the application.
2) Its been more than a week since this message, and no update after that. It is still under Initial Review. What should I do now?

Please clarify the questions if anyone has been in this situation before.
