Driver License Expiring very soon and OPT issued but card not received yet

Need help on this!
My OPT Ext card is issued, but not received yet and expecting it may take 2 more weeks as I made service request for change of address since I moved to different place.
But my drivers license is expiring in couple of days, which was issued in different state and currently I am staying in another state.
1. Is there any way I can renew my DL, since it was issued by different state and I need it to be renewed in TN and moreover I don't have my OPT card handy?
2. Does anyone know about DMV regulations in Tennessee? Is there a way the license will be transferred without doing any tests?
3. What if my license expires and later I receive my card, do I need to go through all tests in TN? How does it it works in TN?
