Hi I am doing my masters in chemistry. Presently I'm in India completed all my credits except my thesis defense . I am returning to USA on feb 22 and in the meanwhile iam getting married on feb 14. My visa and i20 will get expires in may and still I haven't applied for OPT and soon after marriage I am applying for f2 dependent i20 for my wife so with a visa period of just 3 months left and without any job in my hand can I just show my assets and business documents from India and let my wife go for the interview? r else are there any chances of extending my visa after I get my OPT card and then let my wife to face the interview?and please suggest which city US embassy from India I need to choose to improve the chances of f2 dependent visa getting approved.
