doubts on when to take an OPT

Currently done with my 1st sem in ms
had many doubts regarding when to take an OPT
like if we complete the ms in 3semisters do we have an advantage of having more OPT period or do we have the same period of OPT period even if we do it in 4sems
please kindly help with the issue

Hmm u only get opt for 12 months per that level of higher education .. and if u r degree is under stem degree then you can extend it for another 17 months ..

Any way it is same as if you finish it in 3 sems or 4 sems ..
