OPT/EAD Card

Hi
I need some suggestions on my OPT situations. I applied for my OPT on Nov. 25th. I had requested my start date for January 13th as I have a job in hand. I still havent received my card. It still shows it is in initial process. Is there any way I can expedite the process? If so how can I do that? I need my card soon to join my job.
Also, will they change my start date as it is already passed?

2 yes they will adjust it to approval date

Call USCIS file a service report! I applied in augest and my start date supposed to be November 17th! It's still under initial review!
