I have a suggestion..You can form a community or a blog at your site or do something that can actually help all the students with the same focus (B1/H1).medicine background, OPT, or IT and so on..come and interact. A lot of people who went through can come and help..Its easier to miss a post on facebook, but would help people to stay tuned at a forum !!
